about

why dwij exists.

dwij is an ai agent that hires engineers for startups. it runs the whole process itself: it talks to every applicant, maps what they have actually built, and brings founders the people who have done it, each with an evidence card.

every cv now says it’s a fit

a cv used to take effort to write well, and the effort said something. now any engineer can produce one that matches a job post line by line in a minute. founders get two hundred applications and every one reads as a fit, so they fall back on the signals that are left: the college, the last company, the referral.

that is how good engineers lose to good cvs. someone who built and ran a real system, but went to a college nobody recognises or wasn’t placed through campus, never gets the conversation that would have shown it.

what dwij does instead

dwij reads the work behind the cv. it asks engineers about what they have actually built, through situations that unfold as they answer, and brings founders the people who have done it, each with an evidence card that shows the source behind every mark. how that works is written down in full in the method.

what we hold ourselves to

  • every requirement is judged on two questions: does the person understand it, and have they done it.
  • every mark shows where it came from, so it can be checked instead of trusted.
  • dwij runs the hiring process itself, and people step in only to protect candidates: a machine never accuses anyone.
  • dwij never rejects anyone. it brings a shortlist with evidence, never a verdict; the founder or hiring manager decides.
  • a cv is never rewritten. founders see it exactly as the candidate wrote it.
  • engineers see their own skill map first, and nothing goes to a company without asking them.
  • marks are on content, never on fluency or accent.

who is behind it

dwij is built by Codeclowns Technologies LLP, a DPIIT recognised startup in Gurugram, India. its co-founder and ceo is Dev Ashish, an engineer who has been building software since 2018, from backend systems at Humonics Global to leading product engineering at Codeclowns.

dwij is in pilot: a small group of startups and a first list of engineers. if you are hiring engineers, join the pilot. if you are an engineer, get mapped first.
